Fly down a zip wire in Wales!

An exciting new attraction, Zip World, opens tomorrow in North Wales and we were lucky enough to try it out.

Located in Bethesda, near Bangor, Zip World is home to the longest zip wire in Europe and adrenaline junkies will love “flying” 700ft above a mountain lake travelling at speeds of up to 75mph.

The journey on the wire starts with a warm up on the Little Zipper before visitors climb up to the mile-long big wire taking in a tour of the world’s largest old slate quarry along the way.

This attraction offers a completely different day out in the beautiful Snowdonia National Park and is well worth a trip to visit.

Speaking about the attraction, our travel expert, Bob Atkinson, said: “Having flown on the wire this week, I have to say this is one of the most unique and exciting experiences I have ever had. Despite it looking scary, the safety features and thoroughness of the staff give you the confidence to take on this challenge. The views are incredible and I can’t wait to get back and give it another go. Superb!”

To get a taster of the attraction, take a look at Bob whizzing down the Little Zipper in our video below.
