More stunning scenery can be taken in at the Zion National Park, around two hours to the east of Las Vegas, and in Lake Mead National Recreation Area, somewhat nearer at around an hour and twenty minutes away. Alternatively you can explore the out of town shopping malls to hunt for bargains.
