Destinations in Poland

Read our guides...

  1. Krakow

Poland flights arrive in a country with plenty to offer, from lakes and mountain to beaches and national parks. Your flight enters a country rich in UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including baroque wooden Churches of Peace, the primeval Bialowieza Forest, and the old towns of Warsaw, Kraków, Torun, and Zamosc (known as a Renaissance pearl). Poland, whilst yet quite cheap and reasonably safe, is maturing into a modern destination that is becoming increasingly popular, whilst still offering an unusual and eclectic experience.

A cheap flight in the winter months can be the start of a novel winter break...

Flights to Poland take around two hours from the UK, and there are many flights to destinations such as Warsaw, Krakow, Gdansk, Poznan, Lodz, Wrodaw, Rzeszow and Szczecin.

Peak Season

The high season for travel to Poland peaks in July and August, but runs from May to September. During this time, Poland, especially those areas with beaches, lakes and mountains, is almost overrun with tourists. The ski season, by contrast, runs from December to March, for which time flight prices to skiing destinations such as Zakopane will be at a premium.

Off Season

Cheap flights to Poland are more likely during the low season between October and March (except to ski resorts) and are best found by using our price comparison tool. A cheap flight in the winter months can be the start of a novel winter break - although it will be cold and dark, winter is still a great time to explore Poland's cities.
