Royal Caribbean prides itself on being the most innovative cruise line in the world offering an amazing array of unique and exhilarating facilities and activities for kids and adults including industry firsts such as Royal Promenade, a street running the length of the ship with shopping, dining and bar venues. Other novelties include ice rinks, rock climbing walls and Flowrider®, the world's first onboard surf park. Get into the competitive spirit on the full sized sports court or practise your swing on the 9-hole miniature golf course. The H2O Zone is great fun with water cannons, interactive fountains and swimming pools or just sit back and enjoy the solariums amazing cantilevered whirlpools which extend 12 feet from the side of the ship. Other facilities include a state of the art Spa & Fitness Centre. And on the new Oasis Class ships, there are even incredible tree-lined parks and neighbourhoods, a spectacular open-air theatre, the world's first onboard Carousel and a Zip Line high above the Boardwalk. In the evening you'll find a venue for every mood and occasion, from spectacular ice shows and West End productions to glittering casinos, and buzzing nightclubs to an extensive choice of bars and lounges.

Accommodation

There are four main types of en-suite stateroom category - Interior, Ocean View and Outside, Balcony and Suite, each decorated to create a calming atmosphere with stylish furnishings and all the usual mod-cons plus 24-hour room service and in-stateroom dining. Their larger ships allow for more staterooms to be specially designed to accommodate larger families and groups. On board the new Oasis Class ships, there will be an unprecedented selection of 37 accommodation categories including new multi-level Loft Suites.

Dining

There is a huge variety of dining options from exquisite five-course meals in the main dining room, to a casual bite in one of the cafés or family restaurants to a special night out in one of the superb speciality restaurants. Although venues vary from ship to ship, highlights include Portofino offering delicious Italian cuisine in an intimate atmosphere or sample a juicy steak or the freshest seafood at Chops Grille. For the family, there's good old-fashioned burgers, fries and milkshakes at Johnny Rockets 1950's diner.

For the Family

For those with children, there is a complimentary, supervised Adventure Ocean Youth Programme for infants (from 6 months) through to teenagers allowing parents to get a little free time to themselves and kids to have their kind of fun. That includes special kids-only meals, a dedicated kids TV station, H2O Water Park on some ships, lots of great play areas and even a nightclub for teens.

Cruise Programme

With 21 magnificent state-of-the-art ships in five classes visiting over 160 destinations worldwide including roundtrip sailings from Southampton and Harwich aboard the fantastic Independence of the Seas and Jewel of the Seas respectively. The world's largest, most revolutionary ship ever, Oasis of the Seas, launches in late 2009 followed by sister ship Allure of the Seas in 2010.
