All ships offer a choice of both formal and more casual dining venues from full waiter or self-service restaurants to al fresco, a la carte and sumptuous buffets. But wherever you choose to dine, you'll find a high quality of food. Self-service buffets are available 24 hours a day and the menu is as varied as it is appetising. International theme nights twice a week and magnificent midnight buffets also make a welcome change. While the impeccable standards do not differ across the fleet, the exact range of dining options depend on your chosen ship. For example, sail on Thomson Celebration and you can dine in a brand new restaurant from celebrity chef Aldo Zilli.

Facilities & Activities

Whatever you're into, there's something for everyone on board a Thomson cruise. Devote your day to lazing by the pool listening to music and sipping cocktails or head for the sports deck and play volleyball out in the sunshine. There's also a fitness suite and a sauna. If you really want to spoil yourself there's a Spa with massages, manicures and facials all on the menu. With an endless variety of entertainment you'll find a venue for every mood and every occasion. Every night brings high-octane production shows in the main show lounge. Relax in one of the bars or watch a movie in the cinema. Try your luck at roulette and blackjack in the casino or take to the dance floor in the nightclub. Elsewhere in the lounges you'll find live bands, pianists and comedians. When you set sail on a 14 night cruise from the UK you'll have even more options when it comes to entertainment. As well as professional British comedians, there are after-dinner speakers too.

Accommodation

There's a good range of cabins and suites on all ships, with sea view cabins remarkably good value. If you book one of the premier cabins or suites not only do you get extras like a separate seating area and a minibar, you get lots more space and a better view. What's more, stay in the best accommodation on the ship and you get a set of special travel benefits included in the price such as priority check-in onboard the ship, priority luggage delivery to your cabin and an exclusive concierge service.

For the Family

On family-friendly ships, Thomson Cruises are great at putting the fun into holidays with activities that'll entertain the kids all day long. Imaginative, entertaining and completely free of charge, Kidzone offers children aged three to 12 a place to make new friends. They're brimming with creative play and parties with everything from storytelling and role-playing to team challenges and mini discos and are run by fully qualified staff. To make the holiday more affordable, child prices apply up to the age of 16 when sharing a cabin with two adults.

Cruise Programme

In summer Thomson Cruises offer a number of regional UK sailings from Harwich and Newcastle to the Norwegian Fjords, Iceland and the Baltics plus fly-cruises out of Halkidiki for the Crimean and the Greek Islands and Corfu for the Aegean and Adriatic. During Winter one ship is based in the Caribbean and one in Egypt for Red Sea cruises. Thomson Cruises offer mostly seven and 14 night cruise itineraries but you can extend your holiday with the Cruise and Stay option with some great properties to choose from. These include Sharm El Sheikh, Dominican Republic, Corfu, Madeira, Cyprus, Halkidiki and more.
