Spanning 16 decks, weighing 220,000 tons and carrying 5,400 guests, Allure of the Seas introduces a new concept in cruise ship design by featuring Royal Caribbeans new neighbourhood concept with seven themed areas, each with its own distinct characteristics, facilities and activities. Boardwalk, is a zone dedicated to family fun and entertainment and includes a spectacular AquaTheatre at the rear of the ship, an 82ft long zip-line suspended nine decks above Boardwalk, two rock-climbing walls and the first ever carousel at sea plus restaurants and bars. At Central Park the ship opens to the sky and features lush green lawns, flower gardens, trees and pathways providing a tranquil outdoor space during the day and alfresco dining and entertainment in the evening. The Royal Promenade is twice as wide as those found on the Freedom Class ships, and includes new amenities such as the Rising Tide bar, a bar which moves between three decks of the ship. The Pool and Sports Zone features two FlowRider surf simulators and four unique pools including a the first beach pool at sea whilst Vitality at Sea Spa and Fitness Centre will cater to complete body wellness. Entertainment Place acts as the after dark district with bars, Casino Royale and the Opal Theatre whilst Youth Zone offers a wealth of kid friendly facilities and activities.
There are an unprecedented 37 categories of accommodation to choose from, many unique to Allure of the Seas including balcony staterooms overlooking the Boardwalk, Central Park and Royal Promenade plus more Family Suites than ever. Allure of the Seas also sees the introduction of industry-first Loft Suites, vibrant and spacious two-storey suites that redefine the whole concept of cruise ship accommodation.
