Manguang is the capital of the Free State Province and lies towards the centre of South Africa. The city has a number of resorts on the outskirts, and the heart of the city is renowned for it's vibrant nightlife - with a wide variety of restaurants, theatres and music venues that bring the city to life at night.

There are a number of shopping centres around the town - including the Mimosa Mall (http://www.mimosamall.co.za/) and Loch Logan Waterfront (http://www.lochlogan.co.za/), the largest shopping centre in central South Africa - giving you the chance to indulge in some retail therapy and grab a bite to eat after the match has finished.

The region has a number of national parks within it, giving you the chance to take in a safari trip - be it through a hike or a mountain bike expedition - and also borders the land-locked country of Lesotho.  Day trips by 4x4 through the mountainous regions of neighbouring Lesotho's acclaimed Mountain Kingdom are available (http://www.thabatours.co.za/) and give you the chance to take in some spectacular views of a region known as the Nepal of Southern Africa.

After a day's touring or trekking, be sure to stop at the Sani Top Chalet (http://www.sanitopchalet.co.za/) to rest and enjoy a refreshing beer at nearly 3000m above sea level at the highest pub in Africa.

The nearby Golden Gate National Park (http://www.sanparks.org/parks/golden_gate/) offers the chance to relax and enjoy safari trips, go hiking through trails through use of guided tours and also experience traditional African villages along the way.
