Dubrovnik villa holidays

The city walls stand high above Dubrovnik city and stretch for over 3 miles - take a walk along them to discover some amazing views!  A trip to the church-filled old town is also a must and here you can view the huge volumes of amazing architecture and historic buildings.  July and August is a great time to take a villa holiday in Dubrovnik as this is when their popular summer festival takes place; the opening ceremony is particularly eventful with fireworks and live music.

Evenings are a very laidback affair in Dubrovnik; start with a gentle stroll through the old town over the polished stone walkways, then end the evening with a meal in one of the many excellent restaurants serving local specialties.

Rijeka villa holidays

Located in the north of Croatia, this is the country's major port and a good choice for a relaxing villa holiday.  An increasing number of tourists are beginning to visit this city with the huge choice of bars, cafes and restaurants, the Croatian National theatre and the ancient village of Kastav set high up in the hills with stunning views.  Just outside the city is Sjverni Velebit National Park with lots of excellent hiking trails and for a great day out, take a trip to Trsat, a hilly suburb set above Rijeka with a stunning castle, a pretty town centre and tree-lined streets.  Here you can also visit the church that stands on the spot where Jesus' childhood home was - a popular attraction for pilgrims.

Opatija villa holidays

With breathtaking views across the sea towards the Kvarner Islands, it's easy to see why this tiny village attracts so many tourists.  The village boasts beautiful beaches and hundreds of hotels and villas.  Don't miss a photo opportunity of the symbol of the village - the statue of 'the lady with the seagull' as she stands and looks over the bay.

Porec villa holidays

Set on the west coast of Croatia, this pretty tourist seaside town has a picturesque harbour, sandy beaches and calm, clear waters. The beaches and the stunning landscape surrounding the area are Porec's main attractions along with the Romanesque houses, Venetian palaces and the Byzantine church. A trip to Porec museum or the Roman Temples is also very worthwhile.

Pula villa holidays

Tourism and the villa rental market are steadily growing in Pula due to its wonderful warm climate, calm seas and plenty of water sports.  The Brijuni National Park is one of the most popular attractions in the area, made up of twelve individual islands just off the coast. Take the opportunity to eat out in Pula where you can sample the local delicacies of oysters and shellfish - in particular the favourite dish of spider crab which even has its own festival in May.

Split villa holidays

Situated on the south west coast of Croatia, Split is renowned as one of Europe's sunniest destinations and a great choice for a villa holiday.  Attracting visitors from all over the world  tourists can enjoy the National Theatre, Split Music Festival and the summer theatre festival.  A famous site not to be missed on a visit to Split is the Diocletian's Palace, a 1700 Roman settlement situated in the old town.
