Villa holidays in Malta

Over recent years, Malta has become a typical package holiday destination with year round sunshine and warm seas.

However, away from the package holiday hotels, the island is slowly becoming more popular with tourists looking to take a villa holiday both here and on the tiny neighbouring island of Gozo.

Malta villa holidays

With its great beaches and warm seas, Malta has been a firm favourite with British tourists for years.  There has been a lot of investment over recent years helping the island to improve its facilities and introducing 4* and 5* luxury villas and spa hotels.  The island is becoming even more popular since the Brad Pitt movie 'Troy' was filmed there!

Away from the major tourist resorts, Malta has some stunning scenery both along the coast and inland.  A must see on the island is the temple of the Hypogeum  - a world class archaeological site containing bones dating from 3600BC- and don't miss the walled capital of Mdina, set up on a hilltop with stunning views of the island. With so many historical sights to see on this island, Malta is often referred to as an open air museum!

Gozo villa holidays

Gozo is a tiny island off the coast off Malta, without the major tourism of the main island.  This tiny island is well known for its spectacular coastline.  It's a much prettier than Malta with secluded beaches, pretty fishing villages, ancient temples and archaeological sites dating back over 6000 years. Perfect for a relaxing villa holiday!
