The small and exclusive resort of Punta Brava is just half an hour south of holiday hotspot Cancun and near Playa del Carmen. It lies close to Puerto Morelos and Punta Maroma and holidays here are best accessed via flights into Cancun International Airport (CUN) following a flight time of around 10 hours.
El Dorado Royale is the only resort in Punta Brava. The adults-only spa resort runs along Punta Brava beach, surrounded by tropical jungle and palm trees. It is an ideal holiday destination for couples and honeymooners thanks to the serene nature of the resort.
Holidays here can be taken all inclusive, which is a great option because the resort isn't filled with lots of restaurants. There is plenty of choice in nearby resorts, with bars and eateries along the coast if you fancy a change of scene.
There is also a lot to see outside of the resort. Punta Brava is in an excellent location and offers easy access to ferries that run across to the diving paradise that is the island of Cozumel. The ancient Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza can be discovered too, with a journey time of around three hours from Punta Brava.
Activities in Punta Brava include diving, snorkelling and other water sports, plus golf, football and water-based exercise classes. The resort can also provide guests with the chance to be pampered thanks to a choice of spa and beauty treatments.
Punta Brava holidays are the ideal choice if you want to escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy the peace of Mexico's Riviera Maya.
