Compare the best Santa Eulalia holidays

Book holidays to Santa Eulalia and journey directly to the relaxing side of the famous party island of Ibiza. This is a resort designed for chilling out all day, rather than staying out all night.

Why go?

The resort of Santa Eulalia, on the beautiful Balearic Island of Ibiza, offers everything you need for the perfect summer break...

With beach fun by the bucket load, a wide range of hotels, shops, restaurants and bars and glorious Mediterranean vistas, this quieter, eastern slice of the island will put a spring in your step as soon as you arrive.

Ibiza is possibly the clubbing capital of the world, and you'll doubtless share your flight to Ibiza Airport (IBZ) with party animals ready to dance the night away. Chilled out Santa Eulalia, however, feels a world away from the bars and super-clubs for which Ibiza Town and San Antonio are famous.

In fact, holidays in Santa Eulalia are more about relaxing on the beach, enjoying the local cuisine in one of the resort's excellent restaurants and perhaps rounding the day off with a few drinks in one of its swanky bars (oh yes, there is nightlife if you want it, just don't expect to see fellow holidaymakers crawling back to the hotel as the sun rises).

This family-friendly atmosphere makes Santa Eulalia holidays particularly popular with groups travelling with children - especially as there is a gorgeous, clean and safe beach at the heart of the resort. Many hotels offer clubs and activities for children as a result, while the resort's restaurants cater for fussy young eaters as well as diners with a taste for the finer things in life. The part-pedestrianised Calle San Vicente, the so-called Street of Restaurants, is a great place to start your search for a tasty meal - whatever kind of cuisine you want to find.

Accommodation too is of a good standard, with a large number of multi-storey hotels and self-catering complexes in the resort. And while you probably won't feel the need to leave Santa Eulalia during your idyllic sunshine break, both a hire car and the convenient local transport system are good ways to explore some of Ibiza's cultural delights.

When to go?

The summer sun beats down on Santa Eulalia in June, July and August, with average highs reaching 30C...

Spring and autumn, when daytime temperatures hover around the early 20s, are also pleasant. Unlike some resorts, Santa Eulalia is active at these times of year too, although it's very quiet in winter when daytime temperatures can drop to 10C.

What's on?

The social calendar in Santa Eulalia is packed throughout the year, though visitors in spring can attend these fantastic events...

Easter (Semana Santa); March/April: A procession glides through Santa Eulalia to mark the Easter celebrations in the town. Be prepared for lots of food and drink and a jolly good party.

Eivissa Medieval Festival; May: Head to Dalt Vila, Ibiza's Old Town, to see life as it might have been many years ago in this beautiful spot.

Festa de Maig; May: Held on the first Sunday in May, this spring festival of flowers is a pretty and enchanting event to be a part of, both in Santa Eulalia and elsewhere on the island.

What to do?

No matter what age or level of enthusiasm, Santa Eulalia has something to entertain every kind of holidaymaker...

Babies & toddlers: Chug along in a tourist train to view the hills and countryside around Santa Eulalia at your leisure - fun for all the family.

Kids & teens: Zip around the track at Go-Karts Santa Eulalia. Children of all ages can have a go.
