Nit de Foc (Night of Fire); June: Fireworks light the night sky while bonfires and “demons” keep things fiery, and a little bit scary, at street level. This is a very popular event so stake your place early.

Rey Jaime (or Rei en Jaume) Fiesta; September: King James landed in Majorca in the 13th century and heroically claimed the island back from the Moors. This event is celebrated every year in Santa Ponsa with a riot of music, dancing, eating, street processions and fireworks.
