As yet no tickets are available to purchase and the details of ticket sales have just been announced. The first wave of tickets will go on sale on Tuesday 15th March 2011 and close on the 26th April. The start day marks 500 days to the opening of the London Olympics. It is not first come, first served and instead will operate as a ballot for tickets, so there is no rush to placing a booking request on day one of the sale. At the end of the sale period those luck enough to gain tickets will be informed of their booking. Unsold tickets from the ballot will later be placed on general release.
Tickets start from £20 per person and the full schedule of what events are taking place on what day will be released to coincide with the start of ticket sales. You can register for information now and be one of the first to apply once they are on sale and get up to date information as it is announced. We will publish more information once further news is released.
All ticket purchases will need to be with a Visa card, so if you need to apply for a card, click here to use our comparison service to find the right visa card for you. Choose from credit cards, debit cards or pre-paid cards.

Ticket details for the Paralympics will be announced at a later date but will go on sale on the 9th September 2011.
