East Midlands Trains operate services from London St Pancras to Bedford, Corby, Leicester, Derby, Nottingham, Chesterfield and Sheffield, as well as some local services in the East Midlands. The company also operates the long-distance Liverpool - Norwich service, via Manchester, Sheffield, Nottingham and Peterborough.
Many East Midlands services stop at either Luton Airport Parkway or East Midlands Airport Parkway, providing these airports with fast and frequent services to the stations along their routes. In London, East Midlands Trains services terminate at London St Pancras providing easy interchange to international Eurostar services to Paris and Brussels (and beyond); high speed 'Javelin' services to Kent including Ashford, Canterbury and Dover; and First Capital Connect services to Gatwick Airport and Brighton. Both London Kings Cross and London Euston are only a couple of minutes walk from London St Pancras too, providing easy access to many more national rail services.
Wi-Fi
East Midlands Trains has made Wi-Fi available on some services to and from London since September 2010. It is complimentary for First Class passengers and there is a small charge for Standard Class passengers.
Power sockets
Power sockets for laptops and mobile phones are available on all Meridian trains in both First and Standard Class. Meridian trains operate many services from London St Pancras.
Restaurant and catering facilities
All East Midlands train services to / from London convey buffet facilities at least and some include a full restaurant and trolley service. When you plan your journey you can see which trains include which facilities.
First Class Lounges
First Class Lounges are available at London St Pancras, Nottingham, Derby and Leicester stations. The lounges are open to passengers who have a First Class ticket, including holders of First Advance tickets.
