Virgin Trains runs frequent, fast and comfortable train services from London Euston to Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Chester and North Wales, the Lake District, Carlisle and Glasgow. They also run services from Birmingham to Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Wi-Fi
Every Virgin Train is equipped with Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi is free to use for First Class passengers and there are several Wi-Fi packages for Standard Class passengers, with 60 minute and 24 hour plans available. Wi-Fi is provided by T-mobile.
Power Sockets
All First Class seats have power sockets for charging laptops and mobile phones. Power sockets are also available at Standard Class table seats (but not at Standard Class airline seats).
Shop
Every Virgin Trains train is equipped with The Shop - a walk-in shop selling food, drinks (including Fairtrade coffee), magazines and newspapers.
Quiet Zone
All Virgin trains include a Quiet Zone in Coach A in Standard Class. Pendolino services also have a Quiet Zone in Coach H in First Class. Use of mobile phones is not permitted in these coaches.
First Class Accommodation
All Virgin Trains services include First Class Accommodation. Seating is larger than in Standard Class, all seats have access to power points for charging mobile phones and laptops, Wi-Fi is free to use and on weekdays, complimentary newspapers are provided. On many services complimentary food is also provided. Holders of First Class Advance and First Class Anytime tickets (including Virgin Business Returns) can also access the First Class Lounges, free of charge.
First Class Lounges
First Class Lounges are available at London Euston, Coventry, Birmingham International, Birmingham New Street, Wolverhampton, Stoke-on-Trent, Crewe, Manchester Piccadilly and Liverpool Lime Street.
The First Class Lounges offer free Wi-Fi, TV and Bloomberg news, working and relaxing space, and complimentary Fairtrade hot and cold drinks, snacks and newspapers on Mondays to Fridays. At Euston there are also showers and mobile phone charging points.
