I have complained to AirMalta due to losing Half a Day of our holiday due to 3 flight changes.
Air Malta had original flight times changed from 10.30am to 14.00 and
then 2 weeks prior to departure it altered again to 17.40 which then
suffered a delay of more than 4 hours with a take off time of 21.45 approx.
I booked flights for the people travelling which consisted of 6 adults and 1
infant,there is no way i would have booked these flight times due to
travelling with an infant and our personal preferences.
We feel also having to pick up our tickets on departure adding more time to
our transfer from home to airport extremely annoying having booked our
flight with them 9 months in advance.
All we were given was a £5 refreshment voucher each which did not fully
cover the meal with a drink, no telephone calls were offered .
Due to our flight being changed and delayed we lost more than 11 hours of
our holiday so we feel further compensation is due.
It has been over 2 months since my 1st email to AirMalta,i have had replies saying they are investigating but heard nothing for the past 5 weeks.
Does anyone know if i am entitled to anymore compensation other than a £5 meal voucher and what the next step should be due to having no reply off them for a while.
