We did it least year from Glasgow. Flight was good, it was on time. Food was a bit iffy, but they can all be the same. All drinks and snacks were extras, as were headphones and the entertainment console (if you wanted the games and premium films - the other films were free). Luggage allowance is not great for a Florida holiday, but you can pay extra to bring it up to 20K - which is OK. Other than that, we had the 2 seats on their own right at the back of the plane, so could recline - and we had plenty room too.

Has anyone ever flown Thomas Cook to Florida ? Just booked with them direct on their web site and would like to know what they are like ?

Yes, I flew a few years ago from Newcastle (used to fly out on Thursdays/Saturdays)

Holiday was a Sunset Holiday, flying Thomas Cook Airlines. (Price matched from a Thomas Cook Holiday for same hotel, Airline, etc).

Flying again this year, but Monarch is flying from Newcastle.

Was hoping it to be a Thomas Cook Airline this year.

I prefer flying into Sanford, as it appears to be a quicker transfer to International Drive, than Flying into Orlando International.

No problems have I had with any airline flying from Newcastle to Florida, orther than when I travelled with Cosmos, - they forgot to order taxi from airport to hotel - and could not find any rep to arrange for another. That was 2001 - Flying into Orlando International.
