Hi We rented from 1car1 last november from stansted it was a vectra unfortunatly when we were one day into the rental it broke down on the A14 in suffolk unavoidable as it was engine problem on a nw car less than 500 miles .My wife phoned the office and told them they then assisted us by getting one of their drivers to come out pick us all up take us back to the hotel in cambridge and get us a new car out the same day problem free.The manager was keepin us informed all throughout the day.

Never had this level of customer service anywhere and we hire cars around the world will use these guys again for sure.

we rented a car from 1car1 last oct. on returning the car there was a dent the size of a golf ball on rear wing.

they took 500 pounds from our account until an estimate was done. we r still waiting for a quote and the change from the 500pounds as they keep putting it out for rental,

it is worrying as more damage could occur and we would not b able to prove exactly what we had done. 6 weeks ago they sent us an estimate for the same car but belonged to a hirer who had it in august!!!!!

Hi all

A friend of mine is visiting the UK and needs to hire a car for his stay. He has found a good deal with 1car1 and asked me if they were a reputable company.

I have to say I haven't heard of them, but their website looks impressive.

Has anyone had any experience with them? Good or bad - any advice would be appreciated.
