Hi. If you're not travelling until August I can highly recommend the Crown Currency Exchange. I did quite a bit of research on different exchange companies and found them to be the best. I have used them 3 times now and can't rate them highly enough. Extremely professional service.

    "About Crown Currency Exchange
Crown Currency Exchange Limited is an independent foreign exchange specialist. We are a leading alternative to the high street banks when it comes to providing foreign exchange at highly competitive rates.

Our aim is to provide an efficient and professional service to our customers, who are both individuals and businesses wishing to save money on foreign currency transactions."

The above is from CCE's website. There is not enough information there for me to be enticed away from the Post Office Marks & Spencer or any other 'blue chip' name.

Taking £1000 how much better off are you than going to the best 'blue chip' rate?

Thanks for getting in touch. I feel much more confident dealing with them now. We are not going until August so I will be able to get a really good rate.

    Thanks again.

Have just today received my Dollar Travellers Cheques from Crown Currency Exchange exactly as contracted, on the dot, by Royal Mail Special Delivery. What a superb service, and what a great rate, almost 2 dollars to the pound! I shall certainly use them again, only this time I might buy earlier if I can manage it as the sooner you buy the better the rate. And NO I do not have any connection or shares in the company, they just provided me with a very good deal and very efficiently.

I used them last year. I thought their rates were too good to be true but I was wrong. Their service was great as I had to phone them because I couldn't sent them money direct from my Bank account, so they told me to just send a cheque. I shall definitely use them this year

    Dear dibbs

Totally agree with conmankiller. Also unless you are changing a lot of money even if you get a better deal it only amounts to a few pounds. And look what you have said. ...is it a genuine deal... I am a bit apprehensive...

Hi dibbs99 The web address is here :

Never dealt with them never will either, I prefer the old fashioned method of keeping the cash in my hand and swopping it at a Post office or bank & having it straight back. Then it's definitely there in your hand when you need it. Probably the same or better exchange rates anyway.

Exchange Rates - Crown Currency Exchange

Has anyone had dealing with the Crown Currency Exchange. They seem to offer great rates if you send them your money in advance, is it a genuine deal. I am a bit apprehensive about sending off all my holiday spends.
