I had the same experience with Carhire3000 in Lanzarote a couple of months ago. The car had 60,000 kms on it and looked like it had been through Beirut. The steering was loose, and they not only charged me 45 euros for a tank of petrol (in reality 30 euros worth was all it would hold), but I had to pay the airport parking charge to get the wreck out of the carpark.

    Never again !

holidayautos.co.uk fuel policy in Fuerteventura offers all cars with the option to return the car with the same amount you picked it up with. So you will not be charged for any unused fuel.

I hope we can help for your next rental

Carhire3000 in Fuerteventura: a miserable experience

The price beat every other quotation for a Polo or similar, the reality was a shabby old Daewoo Kalos car with lots of body damage although OK mechanically. I said no, they said all the cars are the same - and they were ! Then it was "take it or leave the car" when it came to €45 charge for petrol, more than the car could take, and within minutes the fuel guage was way below full. Upon empty €20 almost filled it. An old scam and I fell for it. Not a nice experience, no replies from Customer Service at all. My advice ? Pay a bit more, go with a name you know and look at the fuel policy before you click Reserve.
