I'm just back from Spain myself. I booked my car with ArgusCarHire.com. It cost just a little over €100 for the week, pretty cheap when you work out the cost per day! Anyway, I've gone back and looked at their payment methods section. They accept Mastercard, Visa, Visa Delta, Visa Electron and Maestro/Laser cards. Maybe you could give them a try.

Hi all, I hope someone has an answer for me, I am due to go to Spain at the start of June and need to hire a car however I don't have a credit card, I have pre-pay electron and mastercards but they don't get accepted for car hire so I really do not know what to do - does anyone know of anywhere that doesn't need a credit card deposit? Thank you in advance for the help!
