    Hi,

The prices for your flights depend really on the destination within the USA. For places like New York, the prices are always cheaper. But you must not try for July Sorry!!!!!!

    Hi,

The prices for your flights depend really on the destination within the USA. For places like New York, the prices are always cheaper because of the high frequency of flights, but for the others the prices are higher. Sorry, but in July every destination in the USA wil be more expensive to reach because its summer holidays. If you could be more flexible and change to August the prices come down dramatically. An example. 27th August - 1st September to New York. Continental Airlines Heathrow to New York, £275pp rtn, a bargain. Try wefly for flights its always cheaper than going directly to an airline, even during July.

For other places you are best just to keep checking for any cheaper fares however, its doubtful for July, sorry. Sales are usually during the not so busy months so i think you will lucky to find a cheap ticket in July

    With regards,

    Luke

thanks for the reply alan. just for anyones info. i got around the really expensive flight prices by getting 2 single air fares. lots of airlines seem to have sales on single flights at the moment rather than the full return. got my flight out with delta from dublin to lax and return from lax to dublin with american airlines. saved a couple hundred pounds!

July is already busy and many more bookings are expected in the next 4 weeks, I wouldn't leave it any longer as many airlines have reduced the number of flights rather than reduced fares.

summer 2009 transatlantic sale (UK to US)???

does anyone know of any up and coming sale for any airlines with flights between the UK and USA? we are looking at july and unsure if we should book now or wait and see if anything goes on sale. the current flights look pretty expensive—will this price just go up even more?
