Re: USA visa waiver - holiday for 91 days NOT 90 !!

You do not qualify for the visa waiver scheme, simple as that. In advance of travel you must complete an on line ESTA form, almost certainly this will rerfuse you permission to travel, if it does the airline will simply not check you in so there will be no question of not being admitted. If you travel, and ESTA does not identify the dates, at immigration they can only grant a 90 day stay without a visa, if you stay 91 you breach the rules and risk not being allowed back. Apply for the ESTA today, online at esta.cbp.dhs.gov and see what happens. If you are refused, I think you have left it too late to get a visa anyway they normally recommend applying at least 8 weeks in advance, it is probably far easier to change the date of your return flight!

USA visa waiver - holiday for 91 days NOT 90 !!

I've really made a mess up of my Visa Waiver for the USA.

Having got my flights all booked I'm due to leave on the 3rd June and return to the UK on 2nd Sept. - 90 days I thought, until I tried to sort out travel insurance and its come up as 91.

Has anyone else come up against this problem? I live in Cumbria and work commitments dont allow me to go to the London Embasssy for a different visa.

Will I be denied entry, even with a return ticket and evidence of funds etc.

    Thanks for any help.
