Hi I have bene to Hong Kong a couple of times as your time in Hong Kong is limited, there are a couple of tours that you could do,

Half day island tour visits victoria peak, stanley market, Aberdeen harbour

If you fancy seeing a bit of the night visit the relvolving restaurant (revolving 66 restaurant had a great buffet meal) with excellent night views of the city, a tour can be booked that includes a meal in the revolving restaurant a trip to temple street market and afterwards a harbour cruise w(55 minutes) with unlimited drinks.

Doing a stop over in Hong Kong on our way to Australia in December 2010.

Arriving Hong Kong 18 Dec @ 17.45

Departing Hong Kong 20 Dec @ 23.55

So not mcuh time, if we can keep our eyes open and 'hit the ground running'!!

What would you recommend on such a short stop over.

Guess a city tour maybe a good idea? Places to see? Places to eat?

Also, read some variable reports about the Metropark, Kowloon Hotel where we are booked to stay .

Good situation, but quality ??

Is it worth up grading rooms to superior, or just stick with it as time there is so short? Or change hotel booking? Two couples are on a tighter budget than us, so guess that the reason for the hotel choice maybe?
