Re: Anyone experienced Easy Car Hire in the USA ?

    Hi

Should have checked alamo prices first, they are way over the price easycar are quoting, i have booked car for los angeles in september, got what i think is a good price, plus free upgrade.i do not like to commit too much money months in advance, but i have a confirmed booking with no cost option to cancel if i find a better deal near departure date.

    Regards

    Ron

    Hi

not used them, they are probably acting as a broker for major US rental companies, ie Dollar Alamo.

Try www.alamo.com web site do not use there UK site as they require prepay. On Alamo.com you enter details for UK resident and it includes all costs, the best part is you have a confirmed price in dollars and no upfront payment and you can cancelbooking online if you find a better deal bfore you go. you also get to choose your car not allocated by rental desk.

www.budget.com will also do pay at desk no payment upfront,no cc details but no choice of car.

    Regards

They're coming out cheapest in quotes for a minivan for a fortnight in May, but I've never used them - are there any hidden charges and do they use the big hire companies?
