The Post Office online is quite good and a bit better rate than in the branch :)

    Re: Changing cash to euros

    hello

i personaly always compare and use someone like the moneyshop, cashconvertors and ramsdens and then pick them up on the high street (better value than the banks and other high st. travel shops and dept. stores) i know iam still not getting a better deal than a home delivery but i prefer it that way. ramsdens 1.183

    another good site is http://travelmoney.moneysavingexpert.com/holiday-money

you can see the results appear instantly. i did a quick check on the rates for home delivery and for £500 of euros, the worst quote was 569 euros from first choice travel and the best was 606 from crown currency 1.213 (at 23:53 25/8)

just remember to check that some cards charge extra for purchasing euros, just click on CHECK FIRST tab on the site. also all the costs. some only do a free delivery for amounts more than £300/£500 changed.

    regards

    jim
