Re: Cheapest Flight to Perth in February

Thanks for all the information I am going to book with Qantas (opodo) the price you have found is GREAT, Thank for all your help. It was mentioned in an earlier posting about Singapore airlines and there new A380 will the Qantas plane be as comfortable.

Hi the fare of £735.00 is really GOOD. The only reason I do not like Singapore airlines is because I have a disability nothing that really causes any problems too them, but when I wanted to travelled with them in 07 they wanted letters from my consultant and all sorts of personal information that was nothing to do with them. They even phoned my consultant, but after all the fuss when I was on the flight they were not helpful with regards to my disability if anything I found some of the cabin crew quite rude. In what way is the A380 different to the older style planes (sorry do not know numbers). What planes does Qantas have?

    hello acorns

seen another option as you prefer not to travel singapore airlines with ebookers.

thai airways dept lhr, 16/2, 11:50 arr. bangkok 06:10, dept bkk 07:45 arr. per 16:40 17/2

    .................. dept per. 16:45 arr. bkk 22:45, dept bkk 01:10 arr lhr 07:15 2/4

the price is £ 745.95 total cost inclusive of taxes.

as for waiting until the last minute, i did a search as an example only for travel 14th jan and return 1st march, there is availability and the price is around the £745 mark same as the above. my thoughts are i would book it sooner rather than later and be safe in the fact that you have a booking. also your departure is only 1 mth away. lets say the worst case scenerio happened and the availability wasn't great or not on the days you prefer? you would be kicking yourself.

i expect there would be flights available but would they also be priced about £745? who knows.

i dont think you would get it much cheaper.

just found qantas from heathrow (opodo) £761 via singapore on your travel dates.

    regards

Re: Cheapest Flight to Perth in February

Surprised you didn't like Singapore, for most people it is their favourite airline and you will get to fly on their new A380 planes which are brilliant, even in economy. For the dates you want they seem to be the cheapest at £735 from netflights.com. BA don't fly to Perth, so you could only take them to Bangkok or Singapore and then change to Qantas for the onward journey, fares are about £25 higher than Singapore. You must realise January to April is peak season to Oz, very unlikely the fares will come down any more in the next 4 weeks, indeed all the airline sales are on now.The next fare class up in economy is £100 more so there may only be a few seats left at this price. The fares fall on all airlines on or around April 20th for departures from the UK but that is not much use if you need to be there in February!

    hello acorns

where are you flying from in the uk and when do you plan to return? i could easily have a quick look for you.

if you are in the london area gatwick, manchester & glasgow from £760 with emirates.

heathrow with cathay pacific, singapore airlines from £735 with a stop in singapore and royal brunei airlines via bander seri begawen £745 (long layover though)

BA and qantas are much more expensive approx £900

    regards
