    Re: Easyjet holiday fiasco

    Hi Sebastian!

I faced a similar problem with Ryan Air two years ago! I consulted a lawyer and he discouraged me from going to court. He estimated only a lot of costs for me and a very small chance to win!

Luckily I´ve had a travel insurance and the refunded me at least a partial amount!

    Easyjet holiday fiasco

I was supposed to travel to Palma da Majorca on wed 23.12.09 at 7.20 am from Stansted, but my flight was cancelled.

Easyjet staff told me that it was because of icy conditions, but strangely enough just my flight and other 3 Easyjet flights were affected, all the other airlinnes were fliyng regularly with no problems whatsoever.

obviosly Easyjet is not telling the truth and my plane was actually diverted to another airport for some unknown reason.

can I take them to court?

How they deal with the situation was also appalling, giving me just a piece of paper with the easyjet website on it and a telephone number, which cost a bout 1 pound a minute to ring,in case I wanted to book another flight, the whole attitute was "i couldnt care less"
