Re: Flight Insurance for One way Trip

The difficulty here is that it is not a fixed term holiday, which is what most travel insurance is intended for. I suggest you call in to a travel agent on the High Street - Get them to do the donkey work - ie: to arrange suitable cover for the period up to the date of departure. They are usually very helpful as they want you to return as a future customer. Good luck.

Flight Insurance for One way Trip

Hello My brother is emmigrating to Australia soon and wondered if there was any way to get insurance to cover cancellation of his flights due to illness. Normal travelinsurance covers the period of the holiday. This is obviously not required. The flights have cost a fair bit and if any of his family was to get ill and they had to cancel they would lose all that money. I figure there must be some way of insuring against this but I have trawled the internet and cannot find anything suitable. Any advice would be great. Thanks
