    hotel florida

    Hi Alexis,

i am trying to book a honeymoon for March on a limited budget and am finding it very difficult as everywhere seems to be expensive that time of year, we have decided to go to Florida, do you think it would be better to book a package holiday or would it be cheaper to just book flights and deal with the hotels directly, maybe try and get a free upgrade by saying we are on honeymoon! Every decent hotel near a beach on my budget of £1000 per person are all standard rooms which i dont mind but would like to try and get something better for my honeymoon, have you any ideas?

    Thanks

    Niall

    Hi,

Have been four times, in different modes of accomodation, and found that booking everything separately was better. You can pick up a flight for about £300 each and I would advise hiring a villa, much cheaper, we contacted the owners and worked out a deal with them. We also didn't hire a car, as by the time you pay for insurance it's not worth it, and the transportation is cheap if you combine taxis and bus services.

    Thanks

    hi,

Thank you for your reply, could you recommend the names of any villas that you really liked while you were there?

    hi

we went more for the theme parks, and the one we went for was called "shardeblil", but there are two websites which are very reasonable and you can contact the owners - www.orlandovillas.com and http://www.silvercreekvillas.com/

hope these two are useful for you
