I'm trying to find a reasonably priced one-way 3 day car rental  in Ireland, picking up at Belfast airport  and returning to Shannon airport. Because it's considered an "international" rental and there is a one-way charge, the best price I've found for a midsize automatic car is $650.00. I've rented similar cars in Germany for a week and dropped them off in Austria for less than  $350.  Any suggestions or help would be appreciated. 

could i ask, are you based in the united states. have you recieved quotes from usa sites only or have you tried any of the uk based sites. you should just type in car hire belfast in GOOGLE, the results are superb and there should be no reason why you should not pay more than you have already been quoted.

on what dates are you expecting to hire. if your dates coincide with the weekend you should be able to find something very reasonable.
