    My Travel (Airtours)

    Hi

My friend and i have booked a holiday with My Travel.  Now we have heard the news that the company is being taken over by Thomas Cook.  Does any one no what that means for our holiday.  Does it mean we are still able to go?.  Also so does it mean with Thomas Cook, do we have the same ammount of customer support, while we are away.  That we had with travelling with My Travel.

    Regards

    C

I wouldn'tworry. As I understand it, from a customer point of view nothing will change. If you need to contact them for any reason then it might be a new phone number or a different adress etc but fundamentally anything you agreed with My Travel  will still be valid before and after the takeover. So the holiday you booked with MyTravel will be the holiday you gon on. Always worth giving them a ring though if it will put you mind at rest! I'm sure everything will be fine

You have absolutely nothing to worry about at all.  Both are highly reputable tour operators who will be merging their operations together over the next year.

From a customer point of view you should experience little if any difference in your holiday, especially if you are travelling prior to the Winter season which begins on the 01st November.

Rest easy and enjoy your break.
