    Re: New York Flights, HELP!

    hello drmave

had a wee look, you can fly from leeds/bradford on the dates you have chosen 5th may (arr. new york newark) & 16th june (16th dept. jfk 22:00) with KLM via amsterdam for £367.90. the stopover in amsterdam isn't to bad either.

or you can fly from manchester via gatwick to jfk with BA for £327, but the problem with this option is that the return flight on the 16th dept. time is 18:05

both the above were found at http://www.travelsupermarket.com/travelmerge/travelsearch.aspx?package=4 and then re-directed to netflights

    http://www.netflights.com/index.asp

you can also fly from manchester direct to newark with continental airlines for £371, again the problem is the return flight is at 11:30

dont know of anf flight prices decreasing as yet, but i expect they may reduce soon will the the price of crude bottoming out. maybe the airlines will reduce the flight cost after buying at todays price for their schedules sometime next year.

    regards

    jim

    New York Flights, HELP!

Hi. I am doing TrekAmerica for 6 weeks, travelling all north america. I start my tour on 6th may 2009, so ideally need to fly on 5th may, i finish my tour on 16th June, can only fly back at 2100 or later that night.

I live in Leeds, so Manchester with continental is ideal, direct flight, going for £369 return. This price hasnt changed for the past few days that ive been looking, but with fuel prices lowering by the day, i wondered if anyone knows of air fares decreasing??
