Thanks for your reply. It isnt an invitation to buy a timeshare - my boss owns the timeshare but cant use the week and has offered it to me - hence being "really cheap".

We had thought of maybe Majorca, or one of the Canary Islands or maybe even Portgual.

This sounds like an invitation to buy a timeshare and when you get there you get the hard sell. If I am mistaken and they really are offering no strings attached weeks 'very cheap' (tell me its not Club La Costa) the I suggest a short flight to Majorca might be best in October, avoid the school holidays at the end of the month. Just a 2 hour flight, awake the year round and very nice warm but not boiling weather and lots of things to see and do.

I have been offered a week in a timeshare virtually anywhere in the world very cheap!

We are thinking of going in October/November to somewhere warm but not hot.

We have a one year old and it will be his first flight so somewhere not to far.

We would like to be able to go to the beach/pool but also with things to do and easy access.

What would you suggest?
