    Help. Want a reasonably priced hotel for a 3 night stopover in early july (didn&#39;t know it was going to be so hot when I sorted the stopover). The wife fancies a sea view but me I am not that fussed. Any suggestions. I would prefer to pay 100-150 GBP per night, if that gets us much in Dubai.

    Thanks for the response and bang up to date. 400 pounds a night is substantially over my budget no wonder you had a great time. I think I am fairly settled on a hotel now which fits some of my criteria, Thanks for the info on taxis as well.

    Always set your watch to where you are going to and refer to time from that from the minute you commence. Then sleep according to your new time. Avoid alcohol as much as you can. Take a full sized pillow with you in your hand luggage. Buy the really soft ones with dacron type filling as they weigh next to nothing and roll up to nearly the same. ...
