The capital of the European Union, a comfortably-sized sightseeing destination, and more places to down a beer than you can shake a Belgian waffle at – there are plenty of reasons to look for flights from Liverpool to Brussels.
There are a number of indirect flights departing Liverpool’s John Lennon Airport (LPL) for Belgium’s hip and historic capital of Brussels. To fly direct, the nearest departure point is Manchester Airport.
Connecting flights from Liverpool are operated by airlines such as Flybe, Aer Lingus and Brussels Airlines, with an average flight time of around six hours (go direct from Manchester and touch down in just one hour and 20 minutes).
Flights to Brussels land at either Brussels International Airport (BRU), the city’s main airport, or South Charleroi Airport (CRL), which is much further from Brussels and used by low-cost carriers such as Ryanair.
Bus, rail and taxi services are available at both airports, with lower costs and faster journey times offered from the more convenient international air hub.
For added convenience at either airport, consider car hire in Brussels. Save money on the cost of transfers and enjoy the freedom of your own wheels (both Antwerp and Bruges are within 90 minutes by road).
