Nepal – home to the majestic peaks of the Himalayas where rugged mountain trails meander through pine forests, lakes and glaciers. Where towns crammed with World Heritage monuments exist beside remote hill-top villages and the dominating presence of Mount Everest is never far from sight.

Find flights to Nepal with TravelSupermarket and start planning your tour of this magical land...

Nepal flights are provided by many airlines and most visitors arrive by plane at Kathmandu Tribhuvan Airport (KTM), where the sights and sounds of Nepal's capital city can be an exhilarating culture shock.

The Himalayas are the main reason people flock to Nepal and there are numerous trails, which wind through forests and traditional villages. As you climb higher the landscape changes dramatically to reveal an icy landscape of glaciers and frozen rivers. Those who venture as far as Everest base camp will be rewarded with jaw-dropping views at the foot of the world's highest mountain.

There are also many hiking trails to be discovered within the Annapurnas mountain range and many travellers to this area base themselves at Pokhara. This lakeside village boasts some of the most spectacular mountain views in the entire region. Aside from hiking there are dozens of outdoor pursuits to experience, from mountain biking and mountaineering to canyoning, horse riding and kayaking.

Other popular destinations include the Chitwan National Park, a nature reserve located in the sub-tropical south and home to endangered species including rhinos, tigers and leopards.
