Quebec Winter Carnival; January: Parades, performances and ice sculptures top the list of highlights during this snowy celebration.
Canada Day; July 1: Deciding what to do in Canada in July can be tough, what with so much going on. Whatever you do, you’d be hard pressed to miss Canada Day, which is celebrated nationwide (though a little less enthusiastically in Quebec) and sees millions of people heading to outdoor events, carnivals, parades and concerts.
Calgary Stampede; July: This annual rodeo lasts for around nine days and features everything from bucking broncos to chuckwagon races.
