Fira is the most exciting place for nights out in Santorini. It offers the greatest variety of bars and clubs on the island, and its walkable size makes it easy to barhop from place to place. The many bars overlooking the caldera are a great place for sundowners.
Franco’s (Old Port, Fira) is one of Santorini’s most famous nightlife spots, offering incredible sunset views, delicious champagne cocktails and classical music. Tango Bar (Marinatou Street) is another well-loved sunset spot, with yet more fantastic cocktails and a chic ambiance. Kira Thira (Erythrou Stavrou), the oldest bar in Santorini, is perfect for classy, low-key nights out set to a soothing mix of jazz and blues.
For more high-energy Santorini entertainment, go to Koo Club (Erythrou Stavrou), one of the oldest and most popular dance clubs in Santorini. It’s got a massive indoor dance floor and a more relaxed outdoor patio with three bars. Just across the street is Enigma (Erythrou Stavrou) another top spot for an unforgettable night out in Santorini where DJs spin a mix of mainstream and house music.
The beach towns on the other side of Santorini tend to attract younger crowds. Prices are generally lower and the atmosphere is more easy-going. Here on the eastern side of Santorini, it’s not uncommon for beach bonfire parties to last into the small hours.
Buzzing beach bars get the party started shortly after noon and keep the energy high right through into the evening. Mango Cocktail Bar (Kamari Beach) is a popular place to chill out during the day and dance to the music of live bands or DJs at night.
Wet Stories (Perivolos Beach) is a hotspot for sipping drinks while watching games of beach volleyball. Or for a taste of yet another side of Santorini’s nightlife scene, check out Dom Club (Kamari Beach), a hip place with a permanently packed dance floor and a soundtrack of house, rock, and reggae.
