Israel Festival; May-June in Jerusalem: Performers from around the world entertain delighted visitors at this cultural celebration. Expect free displays of music, dance, art, and theatre, as well as shows for children.

Tel Aviv Pride; June: One of the biggest pride parades in Asia takes place in Tel Aviv at the start of summer. With its lively nightlife scene and a proud status as a gay-friendly city, Tel Aviv’s Pride involves plenty of parties.

Grown-up families: The Azrieli Observatory is on the top floor of the highest building in Tel Aviv and offers amazing views of the city and beyond. Have a bite to eat at the restaurant while you’re up there – it’s fantastic at sunset.

Relaxing: Escape the hubbub of Tel Aviv by skipping onto the beach and slipping into a more restful state of mind. The warm waters of the Med are perfect for swimming or paddling.

Active types: Join a guided cycling tour on the outskirts of Jerusalem to see the city in a new light. 

Shopping: Exempt from VAT, the goods on sale in the stores of Eilat are perfect for bargain hunters. From clothing to golf clubs, you might want to save some room in your luggage for when you return from Eilat holidays.
