Which policy is best for me?

If you travel two or more times a year, consider taking out an annual policy as it can often work out cheaper. If your trip is a one off, then a single trip policy is best.

When would I need a backpacker policy?

If you're travelling for a long period of time and need continuous cover. It requires a pre-booked out and return ticket and depending on the policy, cover can be available for up to 18 months (always check the policy details)

For single trip policies, select the country you'll be travelling to. For annual policies, simply tell us whether you're staying in Europe or going elsewhere.

What if I'm travelling to more than one country?

Check the policy details before making your payment to ensure all countries you are visiting are listed.

What if I'm going on a cruise?

The same applies as above.

If you have to cancel your holiday due to illness, bereavement, jury service or a change in your financial circumstances, this is the maximum amount you can claim for travel and accommodation costs that you can’t recover. This amount is per person, so choose an amount that reflects the cost of the holiday per person, not the total cost. Please check your policy documents for more details.

This is the maximum amount you can claim per person if your baggage is lost, stolen or damaged. Please check your policy documents for more details.

This is the maximum amount you have to pay per person per claim. For example if you have a £100 excess and make a successful £500 claim, you will receive £400. Please check your policy documents for more details. This excludes Personal Liability excess which is usually £250.
