If you've ever turned up at an airport and tried to park your car without having booked a space, you'll know how exorbitant the price of airport parking can be. But did you know that if you book in advance with us, you can save up to 60 per cent on your airport parking? Thanks to our amazing deals on parking at 26 UK airports, plus two in the Republic of Ireland, taking your own car is very likely to be cheaper than a return taxi - and more convenient all round than getting a friend to give you a lift. Whatever suits you best

There are many different options when you’re booking your airport parking, so you can choose the one that suits you best. On-airport car parks are within the airport grounds, so they’re run by the airports themselves, which tends to mean they’re more expensive. Off-airport car parks are outside the airports and are run by independent operators, so they tend to be cheaper. Despite this, they may be so close to the airport that getting to check-in is almost as quick and easy as it is from an on-airport car park. The most well-known off-airport parking company is Airparks. Most airport car parks run a free 24-hour shuttle bus to take you to and from the terminal itself, but some are actually within walking distance of check-in. At the high end of the scale is Meet and Greet parking, where a driver picks your car up from you outside the terminal, parks it in one of our car parks for you, and brings it back to the terminal when you return from holiday so you can head straight home.

Keeping your car safe

We only use airport car parks which are secured and where we feel confident your car will be safe. Depending on which car park you choose, you can expect any or all of the following security measures: CCTV, security patrols, 24-hour staffing, fences, entry and exit barriers and floodlighting. Many of our car parks are Park Mark-accredited – the Park Mark is a security award for car parks which is endorsed by the police.

Hotels

Anyone who’s ever caught an early flight will be familiar with struggling out of bed before dawn and fighting their way through traffic with an extra-strong cup of coffee to hand. Wouldn’t it be nice to roll out of bed and find yourself at the airport? You can do just that by staying at an airport hotel. Why drive past a row of great hotels at 5am when you could be tucked up in bed in one of their rooms?

Driving up in your own time the night before your flight and staying over in a luxury hotel, helping yourself to a tasty breakfast, but still being in plenty of time to catch a quick transfer to the terminal, just minutes away, would be ideal. If you have a late flight back, on the other hand, why not stay the night before you drive home? You could even treat yourself to a slap-up meal in the hotel restaurant before you head to bed.

This may seem like an unaffordable dream, but nothing could be further from the truth. With great prices like these, an airport hotel stay is within anyone’s price range. Don’t start your holiday with a stressful drive when you can relax and enjoy your time away before you’ve even boarded the plane.

How about spending those three hours before your flight actually enjoying yourself, as opposed to waiting around in a busy airport terminal? Here's how: book into an executive lounge. Or, browse the web, watch some TV and well, just put your feet up - now that's entertainment.
