You've checked in, dropped your bags and you're ready for holiday mode. Security Fast Track gives you access to a priority lane at the departure security checkpoint, so you can leave the standard queue behind. A quicker trip through could mean time for breakfast, a browse around the shops or a moment to relax before boarding.
Book ahead, have your pass ready and follow the Fast Track signs after check-in and bag drop. Your confirmation will explain what to show or scan at the entrance.
After your flight home, a priority lane at passport control can be a welcome extra. Passport Control FastTrack gives you an alternative to the standard queue after an eligible arriving flight, helping you on your way to the next part of your journey. Book it separately from departure Security Fast Track.
At Manchester and Stansted, bring your printed pass and follow the signs for the dedicated lane. These products aren't needed for domestic arrivals.
| Pass | When you use it | What it covers |

| Security Fast Track | Before departure, after any check-in and bag drop. | Access to the priority lane at security, with normal screening. |

Make time before boarding something to look forward to. Explore airport lounges for food, drinks and a comfortable place to settle in before you fly. Lounge entry is booked separately unless your package includes both.
If you'd welcome an alternative to the standard airport queue, Fast Track can be a worthwhile extra, especially when travelling at busy times. Compare the price for your trip with the convenience of a priority lane, and check whether you already have access through another booking. Waiting times aren't guaranteed, so still arrive when your airline recommends.
Check the entry window and conditions in your confirmation. If you're running late or your flight time changes, contact booking support using the details provided to find out your options. Airport staff can advise at the lane entrance, but later entry, a replacement pass or a refund isn't automatic. The rules depend on the service you booked.
It gives you access to the priority lane for the service you book. Security Fast Track is for departure security, while Passport Control FastTrack is for passport checks on arrival. A pass for one doesn't automatically include the other, and neither includes airline check-in, bag drop, priority boarding or lounge access unless your booking explicitly says so.
No. A priority lane can still have a queue, particularly at busy times. Fast Track doesn't guarantee a fixed waiting time or that you'll make your flight. Allow the airport arrival time recommended by your airline and leave time for bag drop, security and the walk to your gate.
For security, choose a time when you expect to reach the security entrance after check-in and bag drop, not your flight's departure time. For passport control, use the arrival-date and time instructions shown with the product. Pay particular attention to flights arriving around midnight and book the date on which you'll use the lane.
Some services accept a pass on your phone, while others require a printed voucher or use your boarding pass for entry. Check your confirmation before you travel and have the required documents ready at the lane entrance.
Children and babies may need their own passes, even when entry is free. Age limits and charges vary by airport and service, so include everyone travelling when you search and check the child-entry rules before booking.
Check the airport's assistance arrangements before paying. Some airports have dedicated routes for assisted passengers or families with pushchairs, so a separate paid Fast Track pass may not be needed or suitable. Fast Track isn't a replacement for airport assistance; arrange assistance through your airline or the airport as instructed.
You won't normally go through passport control on a domestic arrival, so you won't need a Passport Control FastTrack pass. Check that the service is suitable for your arriving flight before booking.
Some Fast Track passes are non-refundable and cannot be changed, while others allow amendments. Check the booking conditions before you buy so you know what flexibility is included.
You may need to go through together if your passes are linked to the lead passenger's boarding pass. Other services issue individual vouchers or barcodes. Check your confirmation before splitting up so everyone has what they need to enter.
Lounge entry and Fast Track are separate services unless the booking explicitly includes both. Check your inclusions before buying another pass. If you'd also like somewhere to eat and sit down before boarding, explore our airport lounges.
If you can find exactly the same product cheaper within 24 hours of paying for your booking with Holiday Extras, we will match the price by refunding the difference - the few applying terms and conditions are listed below.
