How you get to Manchester Airport depends on the hotel and parking package you choose. If your car is staying at the Airport Inn, you can take the paid hotel shuttle or a taxi. Our other packages include either a shuttle journey or a short walk from the car park to the terminal.

Transfers when parking at the hotel

The hotel shuttle runs approximately every 45 to 60 minutes. A single journey costs £10 per adult and £8 per child, while return tickets cost £14 per adult and £10 per child.

Taxis are available 24 hours a day and take around 10 minutes to reach the airport. A standard car costs approximately £15 to £17 each way, so a taxi may offer better value for small groups.

JetParks 3: Shuttle buses run every 15 minutes, 24 hours a day, and take around 6-8 minutes.
Drop & Go P16: Terminal 3 is approximately 5-8 minutes away on foot. For Terminal 2, the included shuttle takes around 5 minutes.
Drop & Go Express P10: It’s a short walk to the terminals, taking a few minutes to Terminal 3 and less than 15 minutes to Terminal 2.
APH Park and Ride: Shuttle buses run every 10-15 minutes, 24 hours a day, and take around 7 minutes.
T2 Meet and Greet P1: After dropping off your car, it’s approximately a 3-minute walk to Terminal 2 check-in.

Choose from several Airport Inn hotel and parking packages, including parking at the hotel, park and ride, self-parking and meet and greet. The best option for you will depend on whether you want to keep your keys, how you prefer to reach the terminal and which terminal you’re flying from.

Good to know

With most off-site parking packages, you’ll park at the Airport Inn overnight and drive to your chosen car park after checking out. Overnight parking at the hotel costs £5, and you’ll need to register your car at reception.

Airport Inn with hotel parking

This is the simplest option if you don’t want to move your car after checking in. Parking at the Airport Inn is included for the duration of your trip. Find a space, register your car at reception and keep your keys. When you return, your car will be where you left it.

The hotel car park has CCTV and floodlighting. Transport between the hotel and Manchester Airport is not included, so you’ll need to use the paid hotel shuttle or arrange a taxi.

Airport Inn with JetParks 3

After your overnight stay, drive approximately 20 minutes to JetParks 3. Find a space, park your car and keep your keys. Included shuttle buses run every 15 minutes, 24 hours a day, and take around 6-8 minutes to reach the terminals.

When you return, take the shuttle back to JetParks 3 and collect your car from the space where you left it. The car park is secured by CCTV, barriers, fencing and regular patrols.

Airport Inn with Drop & Go - P16

Drive to Drop & Go - P16 after checking out of the hotel. Follow the airport signs for P16, as the signs won’t say Drop & Go. Park your car and hand over your keys at reception. An insured driver will park your car within the car park while you make your way to the terminal.

Terminal 3 is approximately 5-8 minutes away on foot. For Terminal 2, take the included shuttle bus, which takes around 5 minutes. The Park Mark-awarded car park has CCTV, entry and exit barriers and regular patrols.

When you return, follow the instructions in your booking confirmation to make your way back to P16. Your car will be waiting for you in the collection area.

Airport Inn with Drop & Go Express - P10

After checking out, drive to Drop & Go Express. Follow the signs for P10, as the airport signs won’t mention Drop & Go Express. The barrier will recognise your number plate, allowing you to drive into the arrivals area and park in the next available lane.

Hand over your keys at reception and keep the receipt you’re given. It’s then a short walk to the terminals, taking a few minutes to Terminal 3 and less than 15 minutes to Terminal 2.

When you return, scan your receipt at the key lockers, collect your keys and follow the label to find your car. The car park is secured by barriers and fencing, and its drivers are fully qualified and insured.

Airport Inn with APH Park and Ride

Drive to APH Park and Ride after your overnight stay and hand over your keys. Your car will be parked for you while you take the included shuttle bus to the airport. Buses run every 10-15 minutes, 24 hours a day, and take around 7 minutes.

When you return, take the shuttle back to APH and your car will be waiting for you. This Park Mark-awarded car park is secured by CCTV, entry and exit barriers and 24-hour patrols.

Airport Inn with T2 Meet and Greet - P1

After checking out, drive approximately 10 minutes to the Terminal 2 meeting point. Follow the signs for P1, as the airport signs won’t say T2 Meet and Greet. Hand over your keys and a driver will move your car to a secured car park nearby while you’re away. From the meeting point, it’s approximately a 3-minute walk to Terminal 2 check-in.

When you return, follow the Meet & Greet signs after customs. Collect your keys from the lockers near Domestic Arrivals and WHSmith, then follow the instructions provided to find your car. The parking area is secured by CCTV, regular patrols and entry and exit barriers.

Open Monday to Saturday, 6pm to 9pm

Expect comforting favourites including hand-battered fish and chips, warming soups and a spicy vegan bean burger, followed by desserts such as classic sticky toffee pudding. A three-course meal costs £20 per adult, while children can enjoy three courses for £14.

Terrace Bar and Lounge

Open 4pm to 11pm

Enjoy a drink on the terrace during the warmer months or cosy up inside when it’s cooler. The bar serves beers, wines, spirits and Starbucks coffee, alongside sandwiches, baguettes, salads and stone-baked pizzas. A children’s three-course menu is available for £10.95.

Java Lounge Bar

Open 6.30am to 10pm on weekdays and 8am to 9pm at weekends

Located inside Spindles Health and Leisure Club, the Java Lounge Bar is a relaxing spot for a cold drink or Starbucks coffee overlooking the hotel’s private gardens.

Continental breakfast is served from 5.30am to 9.30am. The English breakfast is served from 7am to 9.30am.

Start the day with the Big Britannia Breakfast. Choose from continental favourites including pastries, toast and jam, or fill up with a cooked breakfast featuring bacon, sausages, eggs, hash browns and more. Milk alternatives are also available.
