Travel Extras / Airport Lounges
Sit down to something to eat and make yourself comfortable before boarding. An airport lounge gives you a place to spend the time before your flight, with food, drinks and facilities that depend on the lounge you choose.
You don't need to fly business class to book your lounge access. TravelSupermarket works with travel experts Holiday Extras to help you compare available lounges, see what's included and choose a visit that fits your flight.
Select Airport Lounges in the search above, then enter your airport, terminal, visit details and everyone travelling to see live prices, availability and lounge facilities.
Explore the lounge guide for your airport, then search for your terminal and travel dates to see available bookings. Our overseas guides also explain access options where we don't currently sell lounge passes.
Explore lounge access and facilities at these airports. Lounge bookings are not currently available through TravelSupermarket at these locations.
A meal before an early flight, somewhere to open your laptop or time to relax with your family: look for a lounge that offers what you'll actually use during your stay.
Here are a few examples from our lounge range. Follow the airport links to explore more lounges and booking options, then search with your travel details for current availability.
Flying from Stansted? Essence Lounge is not suitable for Ryanair or easyJet flights because its location prevents access to those departure gates.
Choose a lounge with food that suits the time you fly. That might mean breakfast before an early departure or something more substantial later in the day. The individual lounge details explain the menu and service, from help-yourself food to dishes brought to your table.
Look at the drinks selection too. Selected soft drinks, hot drinks or alcoholic drinks may be included, while premium choices can carry an extra charge. If you have an allergy or dietary requirement, contact the lounge in advance to discuss what it can provide.
Put your bags down and settle into the lounge rather than spend the whole wait looking for a seat near your gate. Photos and facility details can help you choose between spaces designed for dining, working or relaxing.
If you plan to work, look for wifi, charging points and suitable seating. Runway views, quieter areas, showers or outdoor space can be appealing extras, but aren't available in every lounge and may have separate charges or booking arrangements. Lounges can be busy too, so don't expect a silent or private space.
Travelling with children? Start with a lounge that accepts their ages, then look at its food, seating and any family facilities. A lounge visit can give everyone time to sit down together, but children's menus, games and play areas aren't standard.
For an adults-only visit or a group trip, read the age and group-size policies before booking. A lounge that welcomes families isn't necessarily a play space, and all guests still need to follow its behaviour rules.
| Your priority | Details to compare | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Food and drinks | Menu, serving times, included drinks and premium extras. | Choose something you'll enjoy during your visit. |
| Seating and facilities | Dining and work areas, wifi, charging and any additional facilities. | Find a space suited to how you'll spend the wait. |
| Your party | Minimum ages, child and infant rules, family facilities and group limits. | Make sure the lounge can welcome everyone travelling. |
| Time and location | Terminal, gate area, opening hours and booked access duration. | Leave time to enjoy the lounge and reach your gate. |
Think about what you'd otherwise buy in the terminal and how much time you have before boarding. A lounge with a meal and drinks included may suit a longer wait; if you're heading straight to the gate, you may get less from the visit.
Compare the full price for everyone travelling, the access time and the inclusions you'll use. Before paying, check if your airline ticket, membership or payment card already gives you access to a suitable lounge, and whether that access needs a reservation.
Find available lounge visits for your departure airport, terminal and travel date.
If you have an early flight or a long journey to the airport, an overnight stay can help you arrive with more time to spare. Explore airport hotels for a room-only stay, or hotels with parking if you're driving.
Lounge entry and security Fast Track are separate services unless your chosen booking explicitly includes both. A lounge booking on its own doesn't let you use a Fast Track security lane. Check the inclusions before paying and allow enough time to pass through security before your lounge visit. If you're looking for Fast Track services you can find more information on our Fast Track page
The departure-lounge bookings discussed here aren't automatically valid on arrival. If you're connecting to another flight, check that the lounge accepts your onward flight and is in a departure area you can access. Allow time for any terminal transfer, security or passport checks and the journey to your next gate. Dedicated arrivals lounges have their own access rules.
Some lounges list vegetarian, vegan, Halal or gluten-free choices, but those menu descriptions don't confirm that a dish is suitable for a specific food allergy. Contact the lounge before booking to discuss your needs and food-preparation arrangements. Tell the team about your allergy on arrival and ask for the current allergen information before choosing food.
Yes, the paid-entry lounges compared here can be booked without a business-class or first-class ticket. You don't need a lounge membership, but you do need a suitable departing flight and must meet the entry conditions for the lounge you choose. Airline-operated lounges may have different eligibility rules.
Your booking covers the stay and inclusions listed for your chosen lounge. These may include food, selected drinks, seating, wifi and charging points. Menus, service styles and extras vary, so look at the individual lounge details rather than expecting every facility to be included.
The length of your stay and the earliest time you can enter are separate details. For example, the Manchester Executive by Escape option shown above allows a two-hour stay, with entry permitted up to 2.5 hours before departure. Follow the entry time and duration on your confirmation; opening hours can also limit your visit. Arriving late doesn't automatically extend your booked time. Leave enough time to walk to your gate and board your flight.
Selected alcoholic drinks are included in some lounge bookings. Premium drinks, such as Champagne, may cost extra, and alcohol service can be limited by the lounge's rules and local requirements. The drinks selection and any charges will depend on the lounge and booking you choose.
Many lounges welcome families, while others have minimum ages or separate rules for children and infants. Include everyone travelling when you search and read the age policy for your chosen lounge. Don't assume that infant entry is free or that play areas and children's menus are available.
Lounges can have dress and behaviour policies, and the restrictions aren't identical everywhere. Read your lounge's rules before travelling, including any guidance on sportswear, footwear, fancy dress and group clothing. Meeting the entry conditions is part of your booking.
Choose a visit that fits around bag drop, security, any other departure formalities and your boarding time. Follow the lounge's entry instructions and your airline's recommended airport arrival time. Allow for the walk from the lounge to your gate, and keep track of boarding yourself rather than relying on announcements.
An extension isn't automatic. Some bookings include delay cover or allow extra time under specific conditions; others may require payment or have no space to extend your stay. Look at your booking terms and speak to the lounge team if your flight is delayed.
The conditions depend on the booking you select. Check the amendment and cancellation terms, including any deadlines or charges, before paying. If you booked through TravelSupermarket and Holiday Extras, use the booking-management instructions in your confirmation.
It depends on how much time you have and what you'll use. Compare the entry price with what you would otherwise spend on food and drinks, then consider the seating and facilities on offer. A lounge may be appealing if you have time for a meal and a break before boarding; a short visit may offer less value. Check first whether your ticket, membership or payment card already includes suitable lounge access.
If you can find exactly the same product cheaper within 24 hours of paying for your booking with Holiday Extras, we will match the price by refunding the difference - the few applying terms and conditions are listed below.
