Dubai Airport Lounges
A terminal-by-terminal guide to lounge access at Dubai International Airport.
TravelSupermarket does not currently offer pre-bookable lounge access at Dubai Airport. You may still have access through your airline, cabin or frequent-flyer status, or be able to buy entry directly from an eligible lounge or airline.
Lounge availability, eligibility, facilities, terminals and purchase options can change. Confirm the latest details before travelling.
Dubai International Airport is a major international hub with three passenger terminals. Choosing a lounge starts with knowing your terminal and departure gate, as you may not be able to move freely between every terminal or concourse after security.
There are airline lounges, independent paid lounges and rest facilities across the airport. Some are designed for premium or status passengers, while others may accept paid entry regardless of cabin.
Check your airline booking first. If lounge access is not included, use the airport's current terminal guide to find an option you can reach before your flight.
Planning a Dubai Lounge Visit
two details to check first
Dubai Airport Lounges by Terminal
Dubai International has Terminals 1, 2 and 3. Always check the current lounge location against your flight before making arrangements.
Terminal 1 - D Gates
Terminal 1 serves a wide range of international airlines through Concourse D. Current airport information includes Ahlan First and Business Class lounges, airline lounges and Sleepover rest facilities.
Airline-lounge access normally depends on your cabin, status or invitation.Terminal 2 - F Gates
Terminal 2 has fewer lounge choices. Dubai Airports currently highlights an Assisted Travel Lounge for People of Determination and passengers with hidden disabilities.
Check the airport's live terminal guide for any other options available for your flight.Terminal 3 - A Gates
A Gates has Emirates lounge facilities, Plaza Premium Lounge, Ahlan Lounge and Sleepover. Plaza Premium advertises food, drinks, showers, a Family Suite and a children's play area.
Access and charges depend on the facility and your booking method.Terminal 3 - B and C Gates
Emirates, Ahlan and rest facilities are available across parts of B and C Gates. Emirates lounge access may be included through cabin or status, with paid entry available to some eligible passengers.
Use your boarding pass and current airport signs to find the right concourse. How Dubai Airport Lounge Access Works
Dubai Airport lounge access can come from several places. Check these in order:
Emirates passengers: Emirates says complimentary lounge access is available to eligible First Class, Business Class and Skywards members. Paid entry is also offered to eligible passengers under its current rules.
Other airlines: Check whether your airline uses its own lounge, a partner lounge or an independent facility in your departure terminal.
Using a Lounge During a Dubai Connection
Dubai Airport is large, and changing terminal or concourse can take time. Before choosing a lounge, make sure it is on your connection route and leave enough time to reach your onward gate before boarding.
Check before entering
- Your onward terminal and gate area.
- Whether the lounge accepts connecting passengers.
- How long your access lasts.
Keep an eye on
- Your boarding time rather than departure time.
- Gate changes on airport screens.
- Walking, train or shuttle time to the gate.
What Facilities Can You Expect?
Facilities vary widely. Depending on the lounge, you may find hot and cold food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, wifi, charging points, showers, business areas, family rooms or children's spaces.
Dubai also has Sleepover locations with pods and private cabins for passengers who need proper rest. These are booked separately and should not be confused with standard lounge access.
Accessibility at Dubai Airport
Dubai Airport provides dedicated assistance services, and Terminal 2 has an Assisted Travel Lounge for People of Determination and travellers with hidden disabilities. Arrange airport assistance in advance through your airline and check whether your chosen lounge meets your individual access needs.
