How to park at the JetParks 1 Manchester Airport
On the day of your flight, drive to the JetParks 1 car park and stop at the barrier, it will scan your registration plate and automatically lift to let you into the car park. Find yourself a nice parking space and make a note of where it is, you're going to be keeping your keys so no need to worry that your car may have been moved while you're away. Once you're parked up, grab your luggage and head to the free transfer shuttle, this one runs exclusively to Terminal 2 but don't worry, you can easily get to the other terminals from there. The transfer shuttle is free with your parking reservation and runs every 15 minutes, 24 hours a day, it takes about 5 minutes to reach Terminal 2.
When you get back from your trip, catch the same transfer shuttle back to the car park, find your car parked where you left it and head to the exit barrier, it will scan your number plate again and lift to let you out.

The JetParks 1 car park is secured with the following:

- 24-hour staff patrols
- Park Mark Award*
*The Park Mark is awarded by local authorities to car parks that have shown evidence of additional measures to increase staff and customer safety and comfort.
Accessibility
JetParks 1 has designated Blue Badge parking bays which are all signposted but do operate on a first come, first served basis. You will also need to display your Blue Badge in your car while you're away. The transfer shuttles at JetParks 1 are wheelchair accessible.
Good to know
If your return flight is delayed the car park does offer a discretionary 6 hour grace period, however if you go beyond this window you will be charged £15 (subject to change) per 24 hrs.
Remember, the transfer shuttles only go to and from Terminal 2 so if you're landing at a different terminal you'll have to make your way back to Terminal 2 first, thankfully that's very easily done at Manchester Airport.
The car park can accept most cars as long as they fit into a standard-size parking space (2.4, x 4.8m). This doesn't include vehicles with trailers or commercial vehicles.
You don't need to print out your booking confirmation, if you need to show it to anyone it's fine to show it from your mobile device.
