If you’re travelling with lots of bags or young children, book a premium space to ensure you’re in the closest spot.
While you’ll pay more for the convenience of short stay parking, you’ll receive a significant discount when you book in advance.
Meet and greet parking at Stansted Airport has the closest parking bays to the terminal – just a few minutes’ walk away.
All you have to do is pull into the bay, hand over your keys and a fully-insured meet and greet driver will park for you in an official Stansted car park.
And, if you choose valet parking, it’s even more convenient as you’ll drop your car off right outside the terminal entrance.
Cheaper than short-stay and only slightly further away, mid-stay parking is a good choice for a week’s holiday.
The car park has a number plate recognition system, which makes arriving and leaving quick and easy. The regular shuttle bus takes about seven minutes.
If you’re going to be away for a week or more, long-stay parking at Stansted Airport is great value for money.
A shuttle bus, which comes around every 15 minutes, is available 24 hours a day. It’ll also get you the terminal within 15-minutes.
JetParks park and ride is a cheap option and ideal for longer trips away. It’s the furthest car park from the terminal building, but it’s still fairly convenient for the price.
The free shuttle bus runs every 15 minutes, and the journey takes about 20 minutes.
All Stansted Airport parking is within either walking distance or a short transfer from the terminal building.
Once there, you’ll find plenty of shops and restaurants. Pre-book entry into the Escape Lounge from just £25 and you’ll get to enjoy complimentary drinks and snacks. It’s open to all passengers and infants under 23 months enter free of charge.
The official car parks at Stansted Airport are “Park Mark” certified, meaning they have police-approved security measures in place. This includes 24-hour CCTV, floodlights and regular staff patrols.
Start your holiday in style by staying in a hotel close to the airport the night before your flight. That way, you get a good night’s sleep and avoid any last-minute rush to the terminal.
Stansted Airport has several hotels nearby where you can combine parking with an overnight stay. The Days Inn is 10 minutes away from the airport by taxi and has cheap deals for those on a budget.
Alternatively, the three-star Hampton by Hilton is connected to the airport terminal so you’ll only be a five-minute walk from check-in in the morning.
