Jamaica is one of the most popular Caribbean countries for UK holidaymakers, and a hit for winter sun-seekers – temperatures hover around 28C, whatever the season. Compare flights to Jamaica and you’ll find a range of airlines flying into Kingston and Montego Bay year round, and a good selection of cheap flights during the UK spring and early summer months.

And while Jamaica may be the fourth largest country in the Caribbean, it’s still quite small, so no matter which airport you fly into, you won’t have to factor in hefty transfer times.

Finding cheap flights to Jamaica is about timing. The island is a winter favourite, so flights between December and April are always expensive. Although, if your heart is set on Seven Mile Beach at Christmas, it's worth looking at Jamaica package holidays with flights included.

You’ll occasionally find cheap deals that way. Otherwise, try the very start or end of peak season, when the weather is still fine but the prices a little lower.

Flights to Jamaica become dramatically cheaper from June to November, which is officially rainy season. Things are wettest in September and October. Flights with stopovers are cheaper too, and not necessarily much longer than non-stop. British Airways and Virgin Atlantic both fly to Jamaica via Miami or Atlanta, and Air Canada offers cheap summer flights stopping in Toronto.
