Zante has long been one of the most popular destinations for an all-inclusive break on a Greek island – and when you couple the convenience and comfort of its resorts with its bright white cliffs, stunning Adriatic beaches and lush olive groves, you can see why. Plus, with hotels ranging from budget to luxury, both cheap holiday packages and opulent escapes are easy to come by.

For rooms with impeccable ocean views, fine dining and fitness centres, head for Laganas Beach. It’s also a brilliant base for turtle-spotting boat trips to the must-see Keri Caves. With many all-inclusive resorts all along its sandy shores, you can choose a break that suits your pocket best, with a good range of bargain getaways on offer.
Tsilivi is a smaller tourist village on the east of the island, famous for its 2km shoreline and calm, shallow swimming spots. Its all-inclusive resorts, on the other hand, are jam-packed with attractions and activities. Think waterparks, karaoke, cabaret and spectacular outdoor entertainment.
Kalamaki Beach might be best known for its nesting turtles, but there’s still plenty to do here outside hatching season. Come to unwind in the manicured gardens and hot tubs of its all-inclusive resorts, with sublime views stretching across the bay.
For a more active all-inclusive stay, consider Argassi. Spend your days playing water polo, competing in swimming contests and honing your skills in darts, tennis, pinball and more. Just 5km from Zakynthos town, it’s excellent for exploring the island’s more urban side, too.
To take a dip in kid-friendly waters, book your stay near Gerakas Beach in the south. The still and shallow sea is great for little ones, and the nearby Zante Turtle Centre will teach them all about the island’s most famous residents. With their legs tired and heads full, head back to your all-inclusive resort for a choice of international cuisine and family-friendly entertainment.
Tsilivi is another family favourite. Stacked with all-inclusive resorts, you and your clan can enjoy billiards, five-a-side football and a range of watersports. Alternatively, drop the kids in the play club or creche and swim on up to the bar. Be sure to book a boat trip to Navagio Shipwreck Beach from here, too.
There’s fun for the whole family at Alykanas all-inclusive hotels. Soft play, splash parks, private beaches and yoga classes keep the kids entertained and the adults suitably relaxed. For a little more adventure, book a bicycle or a horseback tour of the region’s hills, valleys and vineyards.

Zante offers an impressive selection of all-inclusive resorts, whether you’re dreaming of pools with sea views, bouncing nightlife or easy access to ancient ruins. Below are three great resort towns to help you find the perfect spot for you.
Laganas
Laganas, the island’s busiest resort town is packed with lively all-inclusive hotels. Come here to party your socks off at in-resort nightclubs, swim in pools right by the beach and sign up for all kinds of watersports and activities. When you can tear yourself away from the swim-up bar, set off with a snorkel in search of sea turtles around Agios Sostis.
Agios Nikolaos
Visit the picturesque port town of Agios Nikolaos for all-inclusive resorts with all-day entertainment, spas and tennis courts set against the enchanting backdrop of Zante’s mountainous forests. When you’re not swimming in a seafront pool, take a trip to the nearby Navagio Shipwreck Beach or hop on a glass-bottom boat to discover the brilliant waters of the Blue Caves.
Alykes
On the west of the island, all-inclusive hotels near Alykes are a great base for watersports. Choose jet skiing, parasailing, banana boats and more. Back in your resort, indulge in al fresco a la carte dining, enjoy the warm breeze on your mountain-view terrace and swim in a wide range of hotel pools.
